Our Blanket Went to See the Yankees Play!

How cool is this?

Our latest knitter, DeAnzaJig, took our blanket to a Yankees game!

Here is our blanket, on her arm, at Yankees Stadium. :)

Lisa is Finished!

Lisa 1216 was FAST! Her part of the blanket is complete, and it looks like a BIG SMILE in her photo! She used Cascade 220 for her knitting.

Taking the Fast Lane through Connecticut!

I think that Jeremy has won the award for fastest knitter on our Oddball Blanket KAL!

He very quickly did his section in garter stitch, and our blanket is getting lovelier than ever!
Jeremy used Wool of the Andes and Patons Wool.

Jeremy is now sending the blanket off to Lisa1216 in New York!

Summertime Wool Knitting

Our blanket has continued its progress through the Oddball Knitters on the list, by spending some time in the hands of carmabelle1191 in New Jersey, and Jeremy in Connecticut.

Carmabelle used a full skein of Cascade 220 in light blue, then added some leftover purple Cascade 220 that rennfamily included with the blanket when it was mailed to her.

Now, Jeremy has finished his portion, and is ready to mail it out.

Hopefully, our next knitter (Lisa1216) will be available to knit their part. I've tried to contact her, but don't know if she'll respond right now. It's a holiday weekend in the States, so she could be out of town. Here's hoping!
